Consistency is the key for young triathlete Connor Fraser, who has gone from strength to strength in his pursuits.
The Bunbury resident has steadily improved in swimming, cycling and running, under the watchful eye of his coach and 2016 Rio Olympian Ryan Bailie.
Bailie said Fraser has greatly matured as an athlete since he began coaching him. “He understands what he needs
in the tool kit to be competitive at races and will continue to expose himself at high-level competition and learn his race craft,” he said.
Fraser is full of praise for Bailie. “Ryan has been my coach for two seasons, we have developed a good relationship and great training program that is fun, hard work and rewarding to get the results,” he said.
“His experience and knowledge help keep me focused and super determined to reach the next level.”
Fraser has recently completed a busy schedule of competitions, notably heading to Wollongong to compete at the Junior National Sprint Championships. He was recognised at the Triathlon WA awards, achieving third place in the 2023-24 men’s 16-19 category.
