The South West Academy of Sport has teamed up with SKG Radiology — with athletes and their families massive benefactors.

As part of their new sponsorship agreement with SWAS, SKG Radiology will bulk-bill any athlete who is referred to them for a scan following a referral from their GP.
SKG Radiology general manager Lee Parker said the company was pleased to be able to extend a helping hand to up-and-coming athletes in the region.
“Because we are a regionally based company, we want to support regional athletes,” he said.

“If we can provide support in some way, it will hopefully make a difference.”

SWAS chief executive Bernice Butlion told the South Western Times she was delighted with the new partnership.
“We are thrilled that SKG Radiology have taken the same stance to help develop regional communities and provide assistance to support our talented youth,” she said.
“This investment will provide benefits to SWAS as all imaging requirements can be attended to by one imaging provider.
“This is certainly a very generous sponsorship from SKG Radiology.”
